The pleated sleeve head, or spalla con grinze: a bigger sleeve is filled into a smaller and higher armhole, resulting in a somewhat “puffed” shoulder/sleeve finish. Offering more comfort during movement.
Buttons made from mother-of-pearl give an extra touch of prestige to the shirt; with an eye for detail, the buttons are stitched on Zampa di Gallina.
French seams-located on each side of the shirt’s body, inside the sleeves and at the armscye, are realised with only one thread visible on the more refined French seam because the other is inside the shirt. In this manner, the seams are almost invisible and offer greater resistance to your shirt.
Misalignment under the armscye: this assembly technique involves a slight imbalance in the sleeves symmetry and prevents gaping at the junction point of the underarm stitches. It significantly increases comfort.
